Communications Assistant Apprentice FTC 16 months (2205)

£25432 per annum

Are you ready to start your career helping to make life simpler, fairer and safer for everyone? Which? is looking for a Comms Assistant Apprentice to join our Internal Communications team.
This apprenticeship gives you a real chance to learn, grow and support communications that keep our people connected to our purpose and values. You'll work alongside skilled colleagues who'll help you build your skills while making a genuine difference every day. This apprenticeship is with the training provider JGA and is an apprenticeship Level 4 in PR and Communications.
About the Role
You'll support our Internal Communications strategy by creating engaging content and helping colleagues stay informed. Would you like to gain hands-on experience in a supportive team where your ideas matter?
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Internal Comms mailbox, responding to queries and passing questions to the wider team when needed
- Supporting the planning and delivery of internal events, helping to encourage attendance and gather feedback
- Taking the lead on managing some of our internal channels, sourcing and updating content and suggesting improvements
- Working closely with Senior Internal Communications Officers to understand what different teams need and help achieve communications goals
- Supporting evaluation methods and overall reporting
About You
We're looking for someone with good written and verbal communication skills who enjoys coming up with creative ideas. Can you stay organised when working on more than one task at once?
- English and Maths level 4 / C grade
- Skills in Google suite (Gmail, slides, sheets) or Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- An awareness of internal communication and what this involves
- Able to build good relationships with people from different teams
- A learning mindset, open to feedback and learning on the job

The interview process
- an initial 30 minute screening call.If successful the second stage is a 90 minute TEAMS interview (competency questions and a timed written task)
